Jamie Ramsay

Jamie Ramsay is an experienced fire service and maintenance professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Assistant Chief at Espanola Fire Department since January 2013, Jamie has held various roles within the department, including Captain, Training Officer, Lieutenant, and Firefighter. Additionally, Jamie has extensive experience in the mining sector with Vale since August 2007, currently as the Tailings and Water Plants Maintenance Supervisor, and previously in several supervisory roles, managing safety and large-scale projects. Jamie's educational background includes multiple certifications from the Ontario Fire College in emergency services management and fire inspection, as well as degrees in Civil Engineering and Wood Science from Cambrian College and Sault College of Applied Arts and Technology.
