Lisa Gibson

Lisa Gibson has over two decades of experience in geological exploration, currently serving as the Manager of Sudbury Exploration at Vale since September 2001. In this role, Lisa oversees all brownfield base metals mineral exploration activities in the Sudbury area, ensuring alignment with annual and long-term plans and budgets. Prior to Vale, Lisa held the position of Contract Geologist at Inco, conducting structural geology studies. Throughout a consulting career from 1997 to 2000, Lisa worked across multiple companies, including Oliver Gold Corp and Ascot Resources, focusing on project generation and investor relations for various mineral resources. Lisa began professional training with a Bachelor's degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from Carleton University, which spanned from 1991 to 1996.
