Michael Grossman P.eng.

Michael Grossman P.Eng. is a seasoned Senior Mining Engineer with over a decade of experience at Vale, where key responsibilities include engineering support for MRMR conversions, conducting Preliminary Economic Assessments and Feasibility Studies, and long-range planning. Additionally, Michael has worked on various mining-related projects involving economic analysis and cost assessments. Previously, as a Mine Engineer-in-Training, Michael led planning initiatives for multiple ore bodies, developing production, cut, and backfill plans, along with designing drilling activities. Early in the career at Quinsam Coal Corporation, Michael served as a Mine Engineering Trainee, focusing on ventilation surveys and system redesigns. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Queen's University, earned in 2011.
