Samir Bassil

Samir Bassil has over 16 years of experience at Vale, currently serving as the Head of Business Development for Metallics Americas & Atlantic, with previous roles including Investor Relations General Manager and Corporate Governance Manager. In these capacities, Samir Bassil has worked closely with the Board of Directors to ensure transparency and equity in information flow and has coordinated various Board and committee meetings. Additional experience includes positions as a Senior Strategic Analyst in both the Global Strategy and Logistics Strategy Departments, where responsibilities encompassed valuation modeling and the development of the Logistics Investment Master Plan. Prior to Vale, Samir Bassil was a Finance Committee Member at Valia. Samir Bassil holds a Master's degree in Production Engineering with a focus on Finance and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.
