Valdecy Sousa has extensive experience in project management and engineering, primarily within the mining and construction sectors. Currently serving as Gerente de Implantação for Vale, Valdecy Sousa oversees a complex project portfolio with a combined CAPEX exceeding US$ 1 billion. Key accomplishments include the implementation of innovative projects such as the New Steel VGR plant, which employs a waterless iron ore processing method, and the management of multi-discipline teams for significant projects like the Barragem Maravilhas III.
