Project Manager at Valence Drilling Fluids

Harold Brent has extensive work experience in the drilling fluids industry. Harold currently works at Valence Drilling Fluids as a Project Manager since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Stellar Drilling Fluids for four years from 2017 to 2022, serving as an Operations Manager and a Project Engineer. From 2016 to 2017, Harold worked as a Fluids Consultant as an independent contractor. Before that, they held the position of Technical Supervisor - Fluids at National Oilwell Varco from 2009 to 2016. In 2009, they briefly worked as a Fluids Consultant at Signa Engineering. Harold also has experience as a Technical Service Representative at Ambar Lone Star from 2008 to 2009, and as a Consultant at MI Drilling Fluids from 2006 to 2007. Harold started their career at Baker Hughes, where they served as a Field Service Representative - Fluids from 2000 to 2005.

Harold Brent graduated from Texas A&M University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Agribusiness/Agricultural Business Operations. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications over the years. In October 2012, they acquired certifications from the Well Control School for IADC Supervisory Level - Surface, Completion, and Sub-Sea. In August 2013, they obtained an Offshore Water Survival HUET certification from Falck. In June 2014, they obtained a TWIC certification, and in June 2016, they obtained a Safe Gulf, IADC Rig Pass certification from SMS.
