Shlomi Matichin

Shlomi Matichin is a seasoned technology expert with extensive experience in software development, cybersecurity, and leadership roles within startups. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CTO at Valence Security since March 2021, Shlomi focuses on addressing SaaS security challenges. As an Insider at YL Ventures, Shlomi contributes expertise to support the growth of portfolio companies within the Israeli ecosystem. Previous roles include consultant for R&D and security solutions, Co-Founder and CTO of Capester, and Track Leader at Stratoscale, where Shlomi played a pivotal role in technical leadership and fundraising efforts. Additional experience includes a Software Manager position at LiveU and a VP R&D role at Bzeek, alongside foundational work as a Software Engineer for the Government of Israel. Shlomi holds an M.A. in Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a B.A. in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel.
