Emilie Buckley

Emilie Buckley is a dedicated academic professional with extensive experience in higher education and library services. Currently a Support Partner Volunteer at the Florida Coalition for Higher Education in Prison, Emilie engages in content creation and establishes a comprehensive database to enhance communication within the field. As a Professor of Speech and English and Tenured Faculty Librarian at Valencia College since August 2017, Emilie's efforts in research support and student engagement have led to a notable increase in research project completions. Prior roles include librarian positions at the University of Central Florida, The University of Arizona Global Campus, Hillsborough Community College, and Argosy University, where Emilie provided research support and instructional guidance. Emilie's educational background includes a PhD in Text and Technology from the University of Central Florida, alongside multiple master's degrees in communication and library science, and an A.A.S. in Art Studies.
