Gert Garman

Gert Garman currently serves as the Director of the Collaborative Design Center at Valencia College since September 2013. Gert possesses extensive experience in the entertainment industry, holding various roles at The Walt Disney Company from 2008 to the present, including Global and Creative Development Manager. Prior to this, Gert was involved with Disney Destinations, LLC as the Global and Creative Development Manager from May 2008 to September 2013 and worked in marketing for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Gert also has experience as a Board Member for Orlando Federal Credit Union from April 2007 to April 2010 and served as the Events and Marketing Manager for the City of Orlando from 2006 to 2008. Earlier professional experiences include serving as Assistant Athletics Director for Marketing and Promotions at UCF Athletics Association from 2001 to 2006. Gert holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a focus on Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Central Florida, completed in 1987.
