Julie Phelps

Julie Phelps has served as a Professor of Mathematics at Valencia College since January 1997 and also held the position of Project Director for Achieving the Dream. From 2010 to 2012, Julie Phelps worked as an External Pathways Liaison for the American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges (AMATYC). Julie Phelps earned a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Central Florida between 2000 and 2005, a Master of Science in Mathematics from the same institution from 1996 to 1998, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Florida Southern College from 1991 to 1993. Additionally, Julie Phelps received an Associate of Arts in Mathematics Education from Indian River State College from 1989 to 1991 and completed a diploma at Martin County High School in 1989.
