Lancelot Gooden

Lancelot Gooden is the current Provost of Osceola & Poinciana Campuses at Valencia College. Lancelot was previously the Dean of Building, Engineering, and Skilled Trades at Durham Technical Community College from January 2021 to June 2022. Prior to that, they were the Department Chair at Johnston Community College from January 2006 to January 2021.

Lancelot Gooden received a Doctor of Education from North Carolina State University in Adult and Community College Education. Lancelot also has a Master of Education from Campbell University in Mathematics Education and a Bachelor of Science from Saint Augustine’s University in Industrial Math.

They are on a team with Isis Artze Vega - Provost & VP, Academic Affairs, Sobia Khan - Provost, EAC & LNC, and Leonard Bass - Dean, Learning Support. Lancelot Gooden reports to Kathleen Plinske, President.
