Arno Distel

Arno Distel has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry, specializing in technical roles. Arno is currently employed at Valens as a Field Application Engineer, supporting the company's customers in Europe with a focus on Germany. Prior to their current role, Arno took a sabbatical from July 2021 to October 2021.

Arno previously worked at Visteon Germany, where they held various positions. Arno served as the Head of Global Cost Engineering from February 2020 to June 2021, a Cost Estimation Engineer from January 2018 to January 2020, a Lead Hardware Engineer from November 2015 to December 2017, and a Senior Hardware Engineer from July 2014 to October 2015. Visteon is a global automotive electronics supplier and a Fortune 500 company.

Before joining Visteon, Arno worked at Johnson Controls as a Hardware Engineer from December 2011 to June 2014. Johnson Controls is an international industry conglomerate, and its electronics branch was later acquired by Visteon.

Arno has also worked as a Freelancer at Ingenieurbüro für Medientechnologie, where they provided engineering consulting services alongside their other jobs.
