Blake Weber

Blake Weber is a skilled fermentation scientist and bioprocess engineer with extensive experience in the biotechnology sector. Currently serving as a Fermentation Scientist II at Valent BioSciences, Blake Weber specializes in optimizing fermentation processes for Bacillus bacteria strains at a large scale and has successfully led a capital expansion project enhancing annual revenue through process optimization. Previously, as a Bioprocess Engineer II at NextCure, Inc., Blake Weber designed and executed cell culture studies for monoclonal antibody production and oversaw the entire process development transitioning into clinical trials. Earlier experience includes a role as Associate Scientist I at AstraZeneca, where Blake Weber conducted cell culture operations in a cGMP environment.
