Luc Destro

Luc Destro has extensive experience in the automotive sector, focusing on thermal powertrain solutions. Serving as the Data Center Business Unit Director at Valeo since May 2002, Destro leads the development of new business ventures beyond automotive, overseeing €2 billion in annual sales across 17 plants with a workforce of 11,000 people. Previous roles at Valeo include Product Marketing Director, where strategic planning for 12 product lines was implemented, and Asia R&D Director, managing teams across Japan, Korea, Thailand, and India. Destro also held positions as Cooling Module Product Line Director, achieving significant sales growth, and Customer Director roles with major clients like Renault-Nissan and in Europe. Prior experience includes a Sales Manager role at Dana Incorporated. Destro holds an engineering degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Electricité et de Mécanique and completed executive education at INSEAD, with ongoing studies at Ecole Polytechnique Executive Education.
