Kirstin I. Silberschlag is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in customs, trade, and commercial law. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Valero Energy Corporation since July 2004, Kirstin has held multiple positions within the company, advancing through roles such as Vice President for Commercial and Latin American Customs & Trade Legal Services, and Managing Counsel for Customs & Compliance. Prior positions include Associate Attorney at Jenkens & Gilchrist, Law Clerk to Judge Evan J. Wallach at the U.S. Court of International Trade, and Briefing Attorney to Chief Justice Marilyn Aboussie. Kirstin's academic credentials include a JD with honors from The University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in English Literature and Composition from the University of Arizona.
