Steven Hartman

Steven Hartman has a diverse work experience in the risk management and insurance industry. Steven currently works at Valiant Residential as the Director of Risk Management since September 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Risk Manager at the same company from September 2019. Before joining Valiant Residential, Steven worked as an Account Executive at Lockton Companies from May 2018 to September 2019. Steven also has previous experience at Higginbotham, where they served as a Producer from November 2014 to April 2018, and as an Account Manager from June 2013 to November 2014.

Steven Hartman attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition Sciences. In addition to their degree, they also obtained several certifications. In August 2013, they became a General Lines - Property & Casualty Insurance Agent, certified by the Texas Department of Insurance. In May 2013, they completed the McCombs Business Foundations program offered by the McCombs School of Business. In February 2013, they received a ServSafe Certification from the Texas Restaurant Association. Steven Hartman also obtained a Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist certification from the National Underwriter Company in July 2014. Most recently, in March 2018, they became a Certified Insurance Counselor through The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research.
