Tom Lee

Tom Lee has extensive experience in project and portfolio management (PPM) and Microsoft Project Server administration. Tom has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career.

In 2008, they started their career as a Schedule Manager at the US Department of Homeland Security, where they developed and maintained the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for multiple software deliveries. Tom also provided training and support to Project Managers.

From 2010 to 2012, Tom worked as an MS Project Server Administrator at STG Inc., where they maintained front-end configuration settings of Project Web App. Tom created schedule development and maintenance processes and provided training to project managers.

At CACI International Inc., from 2012 to 2016, Tom served as an MS Project Server Administrator. Tom maintained the front-end configuration of Project Server and Project Web App, created schedule templates, and implemented a baseline process using Earned Value Management.

From 2016 to 2018, Tom worked at PBG Consulting LLC as a Project Server SME. Tom analyzed client requirements and performed an Analysis of Alternatives for the enterprise implementation of Project Server. Tom also provided recommendations on operational effectiveness and technical risks.

At Pernix Consulting LLC, from 2016 to 2018, Tom continued their role as a Project Server SME. Tom developed innovative solutions using Microsoft Project Server, designed processes, and implemented schedule management and project control processes.

From 2018 to 2019, Tom worked as a Project Server SME at VG Systems LLC. Tom maintained the top-level Project Server 2013 system, supported the IMS team, and trained schedule and project managers.

At Mission1st Group, Inc., from 2018 to 2019, Tom served as a Project Server SME. Tom maintained the top-level Project Server 2013 system for multiple Army Product Lines and implemented best practice project intake and closeout procedures.

From 2019 to 2021, Tom worked at G3 Innovative Solutions as a Project Server SME. Tom standardized and integrated PPM processes between multiple offices, defined and advanced PMO processes, and established a quality assurance program.

Currently, Tom is employed at ValidaTek, Inc. as a Project Online and PPM professional. Further details of their role at this company are not provided.

Tom Lee received their Bachelor of Science degree in Operations and Quality Management, with a concentration in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business, where they studied from 2002 to 2006.
