Chris Horne

Chris Horne has extensive experience in software development and engineering, currently serving as the Technical Lead Manager and Lead Software Developer at Validere since April 2022. Previously, Chris held positions at TransAlta as a Software Engineer (EIT) from December 2019 to April 2022 and at AppDirect as a Software Developer in the AppDevices division from August 2015 to December 2019. Early career experience includes roles at Lowe's Canada, where Chris worked as a Warehouse Associate and Customer Service Associate from April 2012 to August 2015, and as an Assembler from August 2010 to September 2011. Chris holds a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering from the University of Calgary, earned from 2009 to 2015.
