Kevin Lester is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in financial risk management and advisory services. As the Chief Executive Officer of Validus Risk Management since December 2009, Kevin leads a firm that specializes in serving alternative investment funds with a combined AUM of over $2 trillion, advising on more than $300 billion in hedging transactions annually. Previous roles include Director of Risk Management and Treasury Services at Validus Risk Management Ltd., and Head of Risk Management at HIFX, where Kevin developed a successful risk management consulting methodology. Kevin has served as a Guest Lecturer in Private Equity and Mergers and Acquisitions at London Business School and held various managerial positions with organizations such as Alcan, Avery Dennison, and Dow Chemical, focusing on risk management and treasury operations. Kevin's educational background includes an MBA in Finance from McGill University and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Memorial University.
