Bob Opatrny

Bob Opatrny has nearly 30 years of experience in account management, new business development, and sales in the automation and controls industry. Bob is currently working as a Global Account Manager and New Business Development specialist at Valin Corporation, where they focus on the semiconductor segment. Prior to this, Bob spent 9 years as a Global Account Manager at Bay Advanced Technologies, primarily managing the Applied Materials account. Bob also worked as a Regional Sales Representative at Shepherd Controls & Associates, where they achieved sales growth in Central Texas. Bob's early career includes a role as a Key Account Manager at SMC Corporation of America, where they played a significant role in growing the Applied Materials account from 40 million to over 100 million dollars.

Bob Opatrny obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a specialization in Advertising from Texas State University. Bob attended the university from 1987 to 1991.
