Jill Yow

Jill Yow currently serves as General Counsel and Head of Legal, Strategy and Development for APAC at Valiram, a role held since May 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing the legal, strategy, and development teams while managing the group's risk portfolio. Prior to this, Jill Yow worked as Senior Counsel for Asia Pacific at General Electric International Inc. from October 2014 to May 2019, focusing on power generation and compliance matters. Jill Yow also held the position of Senior Legal Counsel at Siemens Malaysia Sdn Bhd from October 2010 to October 2014, leading legal efforts in the healthcare and energy sectors, employment relations, and dispute resolution. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Associate at Shook Lin & Bok Malaysia from October 2003 to October 2010, specializing in intellectual property and commercial litigation. Jill Yow holds both a Master of Laws and a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of Liverpool, with a focus on International Business Law.
