Ian Starr

Ian Starr is a seasoned professional in communications and media, currently serving as the Communications and Media Project Manager at Valley Beth Shalom since October 2022. In this role, Ian executes marketing strategies, oversees website maintenance, and manages various communication channels. Previously, Ian worked as a Communications Coordinator at Adat Shalom Synagogue, producing promotional materials and coordinating events. Earlier experiences include roles as a reader and script reader in the entertainment industry, where Ian provided analysis for graphic novels and screenplays. Ian also held administrative roles at Imagine Entertainment & Television and The Friedman Agency, contributing to high-level operations and project management. A graduate of Temple University with a Bachelor's Degree in Film and Media Arts and Spanish, Ian has demonstrated expertise across a range of media and communication responsibilities.
