Mitchell Kokko is a General Partner at Valley Capital Partners, focused on web3 infrastructure, deep tech, healthcare IT, and enterprise focused software.
Prior to joining Valley Capital, Mitchell was a principal and investment committee member at the Notre Dame Pit Road Fund, Notre Dame’s pre-seed and seed stage fund investing into faculty, staff, student, alumni and community technologies. Mitchell led diligence and investment into a portfolio of 43 companies, with notable deals including Simba Chain (Series A led by Valley Capital Partners), Madison Reed (Series D led by Norwest Venture Partners), Sagespot (Seed led by Khosla Ventures), Ritual Media (Seed led by Pivot North Capital), and Atlas 3D (exited to Siemens). Mitchell quickly worked his way up the ranks of the fund, starting as an analyst and subsequently serving as an associate and senior associate prior to being appointed as a principal and member of the Investment Committee, serving in that role immediately prior to his departure to Valley Capital.
Mitchell is a former entrepreneur and operator, having spent time at Ecwid (sold to Lightspeed in 2021) as an analyst and Business Development Manager prior to joining Pit Road, and a several time founder. Mitchell is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business, with a Bachelors of Business Administration.
