Raymond Choi

General Partner at Valley Capital Partners

Raymond Choi is a General Partner at Valley Capital Partners, where he primarily focuses on early stage technology investments leveraging data in healthcare IT, biotech, insurance, cybersecurity and web3. Prior to Valley Capital, Raymond led a Kleiner Perkins backed healthcare IT company while angel investing part-time, with investments including Clipboard Health (Unicorn), Simility (Exited to Paypal) and Yubico.

After Stanford, Raymond completed his training as a resident physician in Emergency Medicine, while concurrently investing as a venture partner at an early stage venture fund and serving as a key advisor to the CEO of Texas Medical Center launching the TMC accelerator program. Raymond then co-founded VCP with Steve O’Hara, where he currently serves as Managing Director leading investments, diligence, and operations. Some of Raymond’s notable venture investments include Orca Biosystems (Unicorn), Health Sherpa, StellarCyber and Vida Health. Raymond received a masters degree in physiology, anatomy and genetics from Oxford University as a Fulbright scholar, and a medical degree from Stanford.
