Anita Wilson

Anita Wilson, MSN, RN, LCHIME, FCHIME, FHIMSS, CHCIO, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Anita'smost recent position was as the Executive Director of Clinical Informatics and Organizational PMO at Valley Children's Healthcare, where they provided leadership in the development and integration of clinical information systems. Prior to that, Anita served as the Executive Director of EMR at UC San Diego Health and UC Irvine, overseeing the strategic direction and application of technology within the organizations. Anita also held roles at Miami Children's Health System, where they led the implementation of a full suite of Cerner products and achieved HIMSS Analytics Stage 6 and 7 Acute, and at Memorial Healthcare System, where they led clinical teams supporting multiple applications. Anita's career began as an Information Systems Manager at Children's Hospital and Health System, where they managed a team supporting over 20 administrative and clinical computer applications. Throughout their career, Anita has consistently demonstrated their expertise in clinical informatics and project management.

Anita Wilson holds a Master's degree in Nursing Administration from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. Anita also has additional certifications including Certified Healthcare CIO (CHCIO) from CHIME and Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) from HIMSS.
