Lani Pendleton

Lani Pendleton is an experienced executive assistant and organizational leader, currently serving as the Executive Assistant to the CHRO and VP of Total Rewards at Valley Health since November 2024. As a Co-Founder and COO of Gifts Giving Back, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to promoting literacy in the Northern Shenandoah Valley, Lani demonstrates a strong commitment to community engagement. Previously, Lani held various leadership roles at Hawkeye Hotels from 2017 to July 2024, including Director of People & Culture and General Manager, where significant achievements included hotel renovations and brand relaunches, and receiving the 2018 Hawkeye Hotels President’s Award. Lani’s extensive hospitality background also encompasses management positions at notable establishments such as The Historic Pierpont Inn and Hilton Hotels & Resorts. Lani holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Development & Knowledge Management and a Bachelor's degree in Human Factors in Organizational Effectiveness from George Mason University, along with an Associate's degree from Laurel Ridge Community College.
