Gregory Powers

Gregory Powers, LCSW-S, currently serves as the Executive Director at Valley Hope since January 2023 and has maintained a private practice with Out of the Box Solutions as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Certified Supervisor since January 2008. With extensive experience in leadership roles, Gregory previously held positions such as Vice President of Clinical Services at Niznik Behavioral Health, where responsibilities included overseeing therapeutic operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Other notable roles include Senior Director of Clinical Services at MHMR Tarrant and Director of Clinical Services at UHS, focusing on program development, risk management, and clinical supervision. Gregory holds a Master's Degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from Tulane University and a Bachelor's Degree from The University of Texas at Austin, along with additional education at Harvard Medical School.
