Jim Hillyard

Jim Hillyard has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Jim started their career at the Arizona Department of Economic Security, where they held positions such as Deputy Director for Operations, Chief Information Officer, and Assistant Director for Business and Finance. In these roles, they led administrative functions, implemented IT solutions, and improved efficiency and internal controls. Jim also successfully led the separation of the Department of Child Safety from the Arizona Department of Economic Security. In 2016, Jim joined Valley Metro RPTA as the Chief Administrative Officer and later became the Interim Chief Financial Officer. Prior to that, they owned Dark Green Homes.

Jim Hillyard attended Arizona State University from 1987 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics.
