Marty Ziech

Marty Ziech is an experienced professional in urban planning and geographic information systems, currently serving as Capital Planning Manager and previously as Planner III at Valley Metro RPTA since August 2017. Prior experience includes roles as Planner II and Planner I, with a focus on capital development and service planning. Marty holds a Master’s Degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Cornell University, along with a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a BA in International Studies from American University. Additional experiences include GIS specialist roles at Cornell University, project assistance for the Town of Ithaca, and various internships in planning and GIS, contributing to a well-rounded background in data analysis, community engagement, and project management.
