Edelis Diaz is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as an Acute Care/DOU Registered Nurse at Valley Presbyterian Hospital since January 2021. Edelis has held various leadership roles, including President of the National Student Nurses' Association and positions within the ABSN Mentorship Program at California State University, Northridge. Prior experience includes roles as a Quality Trainer Administrator at Kindeva Drug Delivery, Behavioral Therapist at The Institute For Applied Behavior Analysis, and Medical Scribe at ScribeAmerica. Edelis has also engaged in global health initiatives through Global Brigades, served as a Global Food Initiative Fellow, and contributed significantly to student leadership and health education at the University of California, Merced. Edelis currently pursues a Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner at United States University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Northridge and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from the University of California, Merced.
