Christine Lowman

Christine Lowman is Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller for Valley Health. She joined Valley Health in 1998 in the Internal Audit Department. She has served in her current role since January 2015. Prior to her current role, Christine was the Vice President and CFO for the West Region for seven years, which includes both Hampshire and War Memorial Hospitals. She has 24 years of financial accounting and auditing experience with 22 of those years spent in the healthcare industry.

Christine earned a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Frostburg State University, in Maryland. She is also a Certified Public Accountant and maintains active licensure in both Virginia and Maryland, and is an alumnus of the Advisory Board Fellowship Program. She is a member of several associations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Healthcare Financial Management (HFMA) organization, where she has earned the Certified Healthcare Finance Professional Certification, and is an active member of the HFMA Large System Controller Council.

In addition to her interest in the healthcare industry and finance, she enjoys traveling, and spending time with family at the beach.
