Tia Welsh MD MPH CPE FACOG currently serves as the Chair of Women’s Services at Valley Health System since October 2021. Previously, Tia Welsh held the position of Director of Women's Health at Sun River Health from October 2020 to October 2021, focusing on performance monitoring and strategy optimization for over 40 Women's Health Providers. Prior roles include Director and Regional Medical Director of Women's Health at Hudson River HealthCare, Inc. (2015-2020), and clinical instruction in OB/GYN at Weill Cornell Medical College (2009-2016). Tia Welsh also served as the Associate OB/GYN Residency Program Director and Family Planning Program Medical Director at Lincoln Hospital from 2010 to 2014, managing a high-volume labor and delivery unit. Tia Welsh earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Virginia, an MD from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, and a Master of Public Health from Independence University.
