Christy Parker

Christy Parker has extensive experience in human resources, with a focus on generalist roles. Christy started their career as an Office Manager and Marketing Director at Horizon Sleep Diagnostic Center in 1996. From 1998 to 2000, Christy served as a Managing Partner at Nevada Sleep Diagnostics. Christy then worked as a Human Resources Manager at QTS Payroll Services from 2001 to 2003. Christy's next role was as a Benefits Administrator at Sierra Health Services from 2003 to 2009. Christy handled all aspects of employee benefit programs during this time. In 2013, Christy began their career as an HR Generalist, starting with a contracted assignment at the Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority. Christy then worked at APAC Customer Services as an HR Generalist and was the primary point of contact for HR-related issues. Christy also worked at American Medical Response, where they placed job postings and coordinated operational staffing needs. At HealthCare Partners, Christy oversaw and audited benefit processes and programs, resolving FMLA and LOA requests while ensuring compliance with state and federal laws. Most recently, Christy worked at Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging as an HR Generalist. Christy then moved on to become a Market Human Resources Manager and later the Human Resources Director at The Valley Health System.

Christy Parker received their Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Oregon in 1993. In 2008, they obtained a Professional Certificate in Human Resources Management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
