Sylvie Dubois-Decool

Sylvie Dubois-Decool has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Sylvie currently holds the position of Services & New businesses Business Line Director at Vallourec since 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Innovation and Change Management Director at Vallourec from 2015 to 2022, where they led the transformation of the company's innovation framework, resulting in the development of new offerings and the integration of environmental factors in the commercial offer.

Before joining Vallourec, Sylvie worked as the General Manager at Valti SA from 2011 to 2014. During their tenure, they implemented an action plan to improve competitiveness and customer service, reducing material costs and maintaining market share and turnover despite challenging competition.

From 2008 to 2011, they held the position of Marketing Director & Key Account Manager at Vallourec's Powergen Division, contributing to the division's €1 billion sales. Prior to that, Sylvie served as the Automotive Plant Manager at VCAV - Automotive Components from 2005 to 2008, and as the Financial Controller of the Automotive Division at VCA Automotive Components from 2002 to 2005.

Sylvie also worked as the Automotive Plant Manager at Aixam Mega from 1998 to 2002, and held various roles at PSA Peugeot Citroën from 1994 to 1998, including Production Line Manager and Quality Manager.

Sylvie's career began as a Construction Engineer at Soletanche Bachy, where they worked on the Petronas Twin Towers project in Kuala Lumpur in 1993.

Throughout their career, Sylvie has demonstrated a strong focus on innovation, change management, and improving competitiveness in challenging market conditions.

Sylvie Dubois-Decool completed their education at Mines Paris, obtaining a degree in Ingénieur Mines de Paris between 1991 and 1994. Sylvie later pursued a Master's degree in Marketing & Strategy at IFG Executive Education from 2007 to 2008. In 2005, they attended the Management Program at INSEAD. Most recently, in 2020, Sylvie completed a program in Board by Aliath at Aliath Consulting to further enhance their skills and knowledge.
