Jari Matilainen

Jari Matilainen has extensive experience in the automation and engineering sectors, currently serving as Vice President of Project Operations for the Board and Paper business unit at Valmet since 2013. Previously, Jari held various positions at Metso Paper Oy from 2006 to 2013, including Manager of Project Automation and Engineering. Prior to that, Jari worked as Automation Chief Engineer at Protacon Engineering Oy from 1996 to 2006 and began a career in automation as an engineer at Nelos-Sähkö Oy from 1994 to 1996. Jari's educational background includes studies at Tampere Polytechnic.
