Teemu Toivonen

Teemu Toivonen has extensive experience in the field of air and marine emission control services, currently serving as the Manager of Air Emission Control Service at Valmet since February 2017. This role follows a progression through various positions at Valmet, including Global Technology Manager and Global Product Manager. Prior to Valmet, Teemu worked as a Product Specialist at John Deere Forestry Oy, providing technical support for forest machines. Teemu's earlier career includes significant roles at Wärtsilä, starting as a Service Engineer and advancing to Senior Technical Superintendent, focusing on medium-speed large diesel engines. Teemu holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tampere University of Technology and an additional Master’s degree in Economics from Universiti Sains Malaysia.
