Timo Saarinen is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in paper machines' steam and condensate systems. Currently serving as Senior Chief Engineer at Valmet since January 2014, Timo has previously held the role of Project Chief Engineer at Metso Paper from March 2004 to December 2013. Prior to that, Timo worked as a Shift Supervisor at Oy Metsä-Botnia Ab in two separate tenures, first from March 2002 to September 2002 and again from April 2003 to December 2003 at the Kaskinen Mill. Timo holds a Master's degree in Chemical Technology with a focus on process engineering from LUT University, completed in 2003.
