Tomi Junnila

Tomi Junnila is an experienced project execution leader with a robust background in the engineering and manufacturing sectors. Since April 2022, Tomi has served as the Head of Project Execution at Valmet, while also holding the position of Director of the Global Project Unit at Neles since July 2020. Tomi's extensive experience at Metso from 1999 to July 2020 includes roles as Director of Global Project Engineering and Senior Manager of Projects, where responsibilities encompassed leading global project execution teams, implementing lean processes, and managing personnel resources. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan and participation in the Valmet Forward Together program at IMD.
