Vesa Sormunen

Vesa Sormunen is an experienced professional in service delivery and product management, currently serving as a Service Delivery Manager in Item Management at Valmet since January 2014. Prior to this role, Vesa held a Product Manager position at Metso and has a strong background in automation item management, having worked as a Senior Development Engineer and in various engineering roles at Valmet. Vesa's experience in engineering dates back to the early 1990s, with notable positions in firefighting and as an engineering trainee across several companies. Vesa holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Institute of Technology Jyväskylä and an Engineer’s Degree in Machine Automation Engineering from the Institute of Technology in Ylivieska.
