Aleksandrs Usovs

Aleksandrs Usovs is an experienced procurement professional currently serving as the Director of Procurement at VALMIERA GLASS GROUP since August 2020. Prior to this role, Aleksandrs held the position of Head of Purchasing Department at Latvijas balzams from June 2016 to August 2020. Aleksandrs has a strong background in purchasing and logistics, having worked as a Purchaser at Plockmatic International and AM Furnitura, with responsibilities including supplier management, logistics organization, and stock keeping based on lean production concepts. Aleksandrs also contributed as a Purchaser at Expromo and held a leadership role as Team Leader at Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. Aleksandrs holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from the Transport and Telecommunication Institute and studied at Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte.
