Dan A. Koch is the current VP of North America Pole Operations at Valmont Industries. Prior to this, Koch held the position of Director International Projects with VALMONT INDUSTRIES, Inc from September 2007 to January 2008. In this role, Koch developed and tracked continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring available capacity was aligned with demand, and developed strategic operational plans for the International region- primarily in Europe for the company.

Koch has been with Valmont Industries for over 10 years and has held various positions within the company. Koch's experience and knowledge of the inner workings of Valmont Industries make him the perfect candidate for their current role. Under Koch's leadership, Valmont Industries has seen a surge in growth and profitability.

Dan A. Koch graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Dan went on to earn their Master of Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Dan also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines.

Dan A. Koch reports to Stephen G. Kaniewski, President & CEO. They work with Teresa M. Hecker - VP, Internal Audit, Claudio O. Laterreur - SVP, Information Technology & Chief Information Officer, and Ellen S. Dasher - VP, Global Taxation.
