Ilkka Kortelainen

Ilkka Kortelainen is a Senior Software QA Engineer at Valo Solutions, a Staffbase Company, since April 2020, specializing in test automation and automated accessibility tests. Previously, Ilkka served as a Senior Software Designer at Landis+Gyr, focusing on test automation design and implementation using Robot Framework and Scala. Ilkka gained foundational experience at the University of Jyväskylä, where a master's thesis on Automated GUI Testing for Android Applications was completed in 2014. Prior roles include Senior Software Engineer at Digia, responsible for non-functional testing of Meego / Maemo devices, and Research Assistant at the University of Jyväskylä, developing C++ modules for 3D virtual reality simulations. Ilkka holds a Master's Degree in Information Technology from the University of Jyväskylä.
