Harsha Ramalingam

Harsha is a business and technology builder with over 30 years of operational leadership experience in enterprise and internet software. He is currently focused on selective, strategic advisory consulting engagements and non-executive, corporate board memberships.

Harsha globally led Amazon's eCommerce Platform development, CIO (Chief Information Officer) and CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) functions, Foundational Technologies for storage, compute, and information security, and created and incubated Amazon Home Services and the Amazon Custom businesses. Member of the Consumer Leadership Team for Amazon and its subsidiaries. He also built EMC's SaaS business from inception to launch and completed the successful acquisition and integration of Mozy.

Harsha led the conception of disruptive business models for Cloud storage and Software as a Service (SaaS) at EMC. He also was the CTO of the executive team that successfully took Freeborders Inc. from startup funding to profitability. He played a leadership role in the development of IBM's SAN storage plans, and established and led the SAN Software engineering team at IBM.
