Kelvin Whitcher

Kelvin Whitcher is currently the Manager of Investor Reporting at Valon. Prior to this, they worked as an Operations Analyst II - Master Servicing at Fannie Mae from October 2018 to April 2021. There, they provided mortgage servicing support for medium to high complexity issues and conducted training sessions to mortgage servicers around the reconciliation of their mortgage portfolios with Fannie Mae. Kelvin also led and supported projects designed to create efficiencies in FNMA systems.

Before working at Fannie Mae, Kelvin Whitcher was an accountant at Lenderworks from November 2016 to October 2018. There, they executed timely and accurate recording of mortgage transactions by processing, analyzing, and preparing journal entries for daily interest and principal payments, processing and recording remittance receipts from borrowers, executing bank transfers for loan payments, purchases and loan closings, and analyzing data in Encompass and preparing journal entries for loan purchases and loan closings. Kelvin also executed various cash management processes and functions for mortgage portfolios, performed daily bank reconciliations and recorded curtailment entries as needed, prepared month-end loan account reconciliations and assisted in the monthly close process, and provided support and other assistance with audit and regulatory reviews.

Kelvin Whitcher has a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Mississippi in the field of Accounting and Finance. Kelvin also went to the University of Mary Washington and Woodberry Forest School.
