Valor Collegiate Academies
Carlyn Chrislu currently serves as the Assistant Principal of Culture at Valor Flagship Academy and as a Compass coach, having joined Valor Collegiate Academies in July 2016. Prior to this role, Carlyn was a Lead Teacher for 5th and 6th-grade writing at Valor Collegiate and worked as a Teaching Assistant at Scales Elementary School, where responsibilities included managing technology and instructing students on digital tools. Previously, between September 2014 and July 2016, Carlyn was a Computer Teacher with Williamson County Schools, teaching computer skills to students in grades K-5. Carlyn holds a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Lipscomb University and a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Management from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Founded with the mission to empower our diverse community to live inspired, purposeful lives, Valor currently serves 1,900 students across three schools in grades 5-12.
