Fcca Bernd Weiss

Bernd Weiss, FCCA has a diverse work experience. Bernd started their career as an intern in R&D Controlling at Endress+Hauser Group in 2008. Bernd then moved on to Roche, where they worked as an intern in R&D Controlling in 2009 and in Supply Chain Management / Project Management in 2010. In 2012, Bernd joined Valora Group as an Accountant Group Consolidation and worked in this role until 2016. Bernd then became a Business Unit Controller at Valora Group from 2016 to 2020. Bernd later transitioned to the role of Division Controller, Head of Finance & Accounting at Valora Food Service CH AG from 2020 to 2022. Currently, Bernd is serving as the Head of Controlling Food Service CH (and deputy Head of Finance) at Valora Group.

Bernd Weiss, FCCA has a diverse education history. Bernd began their education in 2005 at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) where they earned a Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. degree (M.Sc.) in Business Engineering in 2011. Following that, they attended Grenoble INP - Génie industriel from 2010 to 2011 and obtained a Diplôme d'Ingénieur (M.Sc.) in Business Engineering. In 2012 and 2013, they pursued further studies at Controller Akademie AG (Schweiz) and earned a diploma as an IFRS Accountant. Bernd then joined ACCA in 2014, where they completed their Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) degree in 2018. Throughout their education, Weiss focused on business engineering and accounting-related subjects.
