Daniel Mortazavi

Daniel Mortazavi, CFA, currently serves as Managing Director at Valor Equity Partners, a position held since August 2024. Previously, Daniel held the role of Co-Head of Private Wealth Distribution at Sera Global from October 2021 to April 2024, a firm specializing in private markets advisory services. Daniel's extensive career at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management spanned over 13 years, culminating in the role of Executive Director in the Alternative Investments Group, where responsibilities included product development for private equity, private credit, and co-investments. Early career experiences also include vice president roles in both the Alternative Investments Group and Corporate Equity Services at Morgan Stanley, as well as a position as Plan Specialist at Citi Smith Barney. Daniel holds a BA in Political Science from Loyola University Maryland and has international relations experience from KU Leuven.
