Derek Long

Derek Long is an experienced civil engineering professional with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Valparaiso University, obtained in 2017. Since August 2016, Derek has been working as a Student Intern in Facilities Management at Valparaiso University, where responsibilities include fabricating AutoCAD drawings for university facilities prior to the introduction of electronic blueprints. Additionally, Derek completed two summer internships with the Indiana Department of Transportation, gaining valuable engineering experience in May 2016 and again in May 2015.
