Laura Floyd is currently a College Intern Technical at Northrop Grumman since May 2024, tasked with designing transitions for RFCMOS biasT using HFSS. As an Electrical Engineering Senior at Valparaiso University since August 2019, Laura also serves as a student tutor, assisting peers with math and science concepts, while directing morning prayer services at the Chapel of the Resurrection. Previous experience includes internships at Bosch Automotive Electronics and Northrop Grumman, where Laura upgraded circuit boards and determined flight acceptable equivalents, as well as a junior software engineer role at SciTec, Inc., where Python libraries were developed for satellite data transfer analysis. Notably, Laura was involved with NASA's HUNCH program from September 2015 to August 2019, leading a team in creating hardware solutions for the International Space Station. Laura is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, a Bachelor of Arts in Physics, and a degree in Secondary Education and German at Valparaiso University, expected to graduate in May 2025.
