Matt Smith

Matt Smith, PMP®, PSM I, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management, education, and technology consulting within higher education. Currently serving as the Business Relationship Manager at the University of Notre Dame since March 2018, Matt fosters strategic partnerships across various divisions to enhance IT Stewardship and optimize technology use for institutional goals. Additionally, Matt is an Assistant Teaching Professor and teaches courses focused on first-year experience and computing. Previously, Matt contributed to Valparaiso University in multiple roles, including Assistant Director of Continuous Improvement and various adjunct instructor positions, while also serving as Vice President of Education and Certification for PMI Michiana Chapter, responsible for professional development and educational initiatives. Matt holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Master's degree in Information Technology from Valparaiso University.
